London, GBAfter highlighting that Lisa had plagiarised around 50% of the copy, I was shocked by her behaviour although it's not unusual for guilty people to go on the attack. She had copied a quote, which was fine, as long as it was referenced. However, she lifted lots of copy beyond the quote. This was all clearly highlighted in a
word document however she failed to acknowledge any plagiarism, despite it being cleared highlighted in yellow. After offering her 50% of the fee as a fair outcome with a view to drawing a line under the matter, she then suggested I was trying to short change her, accusing me of been dishonest. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend working with her for copywriting projects.Lisa W.
I submitted the client's job on time and on brief. He then asked for further amendments to include, sources, references, links and quotes, which I then supplied. Either by using an edit bot or inexperienced human editor the work came back with this text highlighted as not unique and he used this as an excuse to reduce the price of the job.
I refunded the client the entire job invoice and walked away from the job. I don't work for scammers.
