Written for a fashion blog
"Huishan Zhang’s young, chic, sexy brand was founded straight after he left university and in it he channeled a desire to bring something unique to the world of fashion and to leave an original imprint on fashion for decades to come. Hailing from the Chinese city of Qingdao, Huishan Zhang has indeed brought something very unique to the catwalk – a unique marriage of the traditional and modern, imbibed with hints of Western and Chinese fashion tenets. Much of his Western style inspiration has been drawn from hands-on experience working for Dior and this is something that has allowed Huishan Zhang a wealth of inspiration about how to make Chinese traditional dress more modern and appealing across ethnicities. Huishan Zhang also draws inspiration from modern cultures, the world of art and modern designers, and has sought to channel modern elements of each within the Huishan Zhang brand.

With just two collections launched as of early 2013, Huishan Zhang has brought fresh direction to Chinese traditional style, preserving the imposing width, flow and bold colours of the Chinese tradition while adding floaty, sexy translucent silhouettes and hemlines to create sexy dresses and original fashion with international appeal.

To create his unique fashion style Huishan Zhang has utilised the peplum style, see-through materials, two-tiered styles, bold zips and both short and lengthy hemlines. The 2012 collection is dominated by simple, elegant whites and blacks with a variety of materials to showcase the original mixture of Chinese and Western style. Notably, Huishan Zhang has created dresses with imposing width, redolent of the traditional Chinese style, while making the style lighter, more delicate and understated".

A Visitor Guide to Morocco

"Morocco’s ancient City of Fez (or Fes as it is also referred to) is a must-see on any visit to Morocco! Famous for its ancient walled ‘Old City’ or Medina Quarter, intricate architecture, spectacular mosques, bustling streets and historic pilgrimages, Fez is the perfect tour destination for tourists with a taste for the history of Morocco, and is sure to live up to its reputation as the ‘Mecca of the West’!

In ancient times Fez was the medieval capital of Morocco, and today the medina or ‘Old City’ is well-preserved inside a walled exterior which itself is a spectacular site to behold! Nestling inside the olive-tree lined hills that surround Fez, you will find two grand fortresses, the Borj Nord, famed for its ancient armaments museum and the more modern Broj Sud.

While in Fez you simply must pay a visit to the Merenid Tombs, which offer spectacular views over the medina and its modern surrounds! Do also stop to take in the fantastic Sofitel Palais Jamai Terrace, which again offers a panoramic view over the medina. The sight of the Bab Bou Jeloud, or ‘Blue Gate of Fez’, again is awe-inspiring and not to be missed!

Inside the medina, avid shoppers will be thrilled with the powerful sight and smell of the many leather, fruit, ceramics and food stalls located in the heart of Fez’s medina. Fez’s tanneries, which date back to the Middle Ages, and produce leather goods to this day are amazing! Take in the sight and smell of the huge vats used for dying and watch the leather being rinsed! Also follow one of Fez’s well-worn ancient trails through the City which are helpfully sign-posted for tourists!...".

Written in a formal context for readers who are UK lawyers and academics

"Acquittal
The study reveals that acquittal under the law of England and Wales communicates a spectrum of innocence and so functions on many levels despite performing a homogenous function “on the surface”. The current formulation of the acquittal increasingly accommodates complex undercurrents relating to the acquittal in that the acquittal has become more contestable but, as this study suggests, issues continue to pervade several major policy areas such as the insanity defence that have never been successfully addressed in policy terms in that some acquittals don’t properly “acquit” when they should, and some acquittals acquit when the acquittal conceals elements of malfeasance, or other pieces of relevant qualifying information that a more sophisticated acquittal system could and arguably should highlight. Some adjustments to the acquittal process in addition to those indirectly delivered through the Criminal Justice Act 2003 would achieve a fairer, more informative and generally more optimal acquittal process under the law of England and Wales, and it is not necessary to abandon the binary construction of the acquittal process in order to achieve this since the binary acquittal system already recognises different types of acquittals albeit this system fails to communicate enough information....".
