Singapore, SGNOT a good experience! Before placing order, this freelancer told me it takes 2-3 days to publish.
I placed order on Tuesday 16th Apr and gave her everything she needed to publish with my order. On Thursday, I asked her about status of things because still nothing received.
She then said it will take 3-5 days to publish and "don't worry, and you will have it quicker." On Friday, still nothing received, so I left her a message saying that I'll start the refund process because the PPH refund process takes at least 3 days.
And that I'll still pay if she can deliver the article in the next 3 days, which is already longer than what she promised. She then called me "unethical" and that my article will go live that same day. I really don't think her attitude is appropriate here!
She needs to understand that the PPH refund process takes really long and that clients need to take other exit actions in case she cannot deliver.
Also I already made clear that I'll still pay if she delivers the article within the next 3 days, so she just needs to deliver what we agreed upon!!!
She assured me that my article will be published that day, but I've waited another 24 hours and STILL NOTHING!!! I really felt that she was just lying to me. Another day went by and still nothing received from her or any response. I only got my article published on DAY SEVEN, just before the refund deadline ends!
Guest posting is not rocket science! It's just coordination, communication and NOT overpromising! Working with Sana was very stressful for me! I believe that she could have done better if she communicates with the editor on the publication schedule and not make so many false promises. Because if she did tell me that it would take 7 days or longer to publish, I might not have bought this publication but picked another quicker publication instead.
I think she should be more honest in her communication and at least give clients the option to choose the right publication based on delivery time.
There is no point to keep saying "don't worry blablabla, we'll publish then and then" but you cannot deliver. Stop treating clients like they are idiots! Who are you gonna fool with that?? And please don't tell me that you cannot help the situation because you don't "own" the publication!
Because she kept telling me that she has done this over thousands times and 5-stars reviews etc. Well, then she should know how to do this properly, how long it really takes. It's HER job to be on top of things and make sure that the article gets published within the agreed timeline. That's why we clients pay her!!!
And when clients start the refund process, don't start calling names because they have the right to request refunds if you are not delivering according to agreements made fullstop!
I do NOT recommend buying guest posts from this freelancer. It's poor attitude, a lot of excuses and overpromising. But if you have to, then make sure that you agree on the delivery time and start the refund process early. Otherwise she'll just keep you waiting and waiting!
