Upcycling- (Pattern tracing,cutting and sewing)
Will be tracing 1 piece of clothing to form a pattern, we will then use this pattern to cut pieces of fabric into shape and sew to recreate original piece . This is an upcycling project No specific piece in question though will be a basic design. For London Based only! (I would prefer to be present during process, to watch, learn and record, please let me know if this is possible)
Replicate & Modernise
Bit of a strange one, I own and run Spacesuit.Rentals and for years my Apollo suits used on tv are a heavy cotton drill. They used to be made by a seamstress who made sails but has now retired and I'm looking for someone to copy a suit I have to replace an ageing suit and then work with me to update and make changes to modernise the accessories. I can handle all the design of those parts and the metal but I can't pattern or sew the suit. he suits are really a heavy cotton drill, a boiler suit with a zip up the back, and I'm looking for someone to take one, pattern it and replicate it. I can supply the material, I just do not have the skill. I know this is a strange one, but your skills and work with what seem heavy materials may be the answer. I can supply many a photo if you need a quick look. Pattern maker and seamstress for athleisure wear
I am looking for a pattern maker who can create a sweatshirt pattern (I've got some rough ideas of having a slightly more curved and oversized sleeve), as well as a seamstress who can sew together the pattern pieces once they have been printed and dyed. (If you are both a pattern cutter and seamstress that would be amazing.) I need the final sweatshirts (5 in total) to be of high quality as I will be showing them at my postgrad degree show, my website and possibly to an independent boutique. Digital sewing patterns x3
I am looking for someone to create my paper sewing patterns into digital patterns. They need to be suitable for print at home (A4) and larger print for me to have made up on pattern paper. I can provide a traced copy of what is required on paper via post and this then needs to be made as a digital copy. Plus as a A4 cut and stick together copy so customers can purchase and print at home. I am initially looking for 3 different patterns. Trousers, dress and bloomers set, and dungarees. Create PDF downloadable pattern
Hello, I have six patterns for soft furnishings items (kids fancy dress, bags ect) which I need made into a downloadable PDF. This is for a sewing blog. I can provide the pattern shape in sketch form with the measurements and then need these turned into a pattern which could be downloaded and printed at the correct size, all much bigger than A4. All designs are fairly simply with max of 4 or 5 pattern pieces.

A set of sling bags
I’m an accessory designer living in London. I’m looking for a sewing machinist to construct an initial quantity of 5 bags. I design and cut these myself, using a variety of recycled material- from old denim to raincoats to create truly one-of-a-kind products. The packs would come with all pre-cut pieces and tech packs with the necessary components for construction along with a pre-made sample for reference.
