Extra notes: I would like a marketing letter developed which will be used in an email and postal marketing campaign, the services are for a Health and Safety consultancy and the aim of the marketing campaign is to sell our competent persons package.
Some information for the campaign......
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires each employer to appoint one or more competent persons to provide advice and guidance to the company on matters of health and safety.
The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 It is an employer's duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of their employees and other people who might be affected by their business. Employers must do whatever is reasonably practicable to achieve this.
General duties of employers;
o It shall be the duty of every employer to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all his employees.
o it shall be the duty of every employer with 5 or more employees to prepare and as often as may be appropriate revise a written statement of his general policy with respect to the health and safety at work of his employees and the organisation and arrangements for the time being in force for carrying out that policy, and to bring the statement and any revision of it to the notice of all of his employees.
The competent persons package we offer provides the following;
• AW Safety Management Ltd shall be nominated as Competent Advisors and a letter of appointment shall be issued
• We will undertake an annual review of Policy Statement
• Review of Fire risk arrangements
• We shall produce and maintain a H&S management manual which will be tailored to the companies needs/business sector.
• Assistance with the production of Risk Assessments as required under legislation
• Production of COSHH assessments as required
• Accident/Incident investigation & RIDDOR reporting where necessary
• 4 x Site visits per year
. Training of workforce i.e. Manual Handling, DSE, COSHH etc...
• Annual Audit of premises & H&S requirements & production of audit report
• Unlimited telephone & email support
• 24hr 7 day emergency contact/support line
• Discount on other consultancy services
• Support during external accreditation audit i.e. ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001.
This is charged on a cost effective quarterly retainer with no minimum term or sign up fees
