Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Num. of words: 400
Topic: Creative writing around ESL vocabulary
Tone: Other
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: Hi there, I would really appreciate the help of any creative writers. The deadline is very short at about 5 hours from now however is a fun and easy.
I need to teach four words for an English as a Second Language task , each with a creative story to add context and meaning to the word. Please find an example for the word 'match' below. Note that that the word is not used in the creative writing (or at least not until the very end. Ideally the four stories could all link together in some way.
Example:
Imagine it’s a dark and stormy night, it raining, there’s a lot of thunder and lighting. Suddenly, your electricity goes out. There’s no power, there are no lights. However it’s ok because you have a candle and you have something you can use to light the candle. This thing can start a fire. It’s a very thin little stick. It comes in a small box with many other little sticks. A match.
The words I will be using are:
Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
