Description
Experience Level: Expert
13 short stories (550-600 words each) are required for a magazine which is produced every 4 weeks. Each story can be either an individual (stand alone) tale or all 13 can be produced as a series. The stories are to be aimed at children aged between 5 and 12 and this is an ideal opportunity for a budding creative writer to see their work in print.
It is hoped that this will result in a long term relationship between the writer and the magazine (the last writer was with us for 4 years and has decided to move on to other projects).
The budget given is to produce all 13 stories, but the successful bidder will be paid for each individual story upon submission every four weeks (ie between £15 and £20 for each story). The first story will be required within a week and will be published in December's issue. To save confusion, please bid with a total for all 13 tales and we'll do the maths!
An example is attached from our last booklet and this was the final chapter in a series of 13 short tales about a young girl called Imma.
Please supply a brief synopsis along with your bid about the type of story(ies) you have in mind.
