I run the marketing department at the International Herald Tribune, the global edition of The New York Times. You can find out more about the IHT at www.IHTinfo.com. We develop marketing collateral - branding, ad campaigns, emails, visual assets, web sites - for our conferences department (www.ihtconferences.com), and this includes writing copy as needed. I would like to explore using a freelance copywriter to develop some key copy for the new event we are launching at the beginning of April. This copy could include launch ad campaign and email, intro/description for us on web site and print material, and perhaps other pieces - exact deliverables to be decided in discussion with prospective freelancers. The event is B2B. My goal is to have a core copy that we can then use as guide for producing ongoing collateral in house.
