Description
Experience Level: Expert
Num. of articles: 5
Words per article: 500-1000
Information for the blog/website: Leading purveyors of quick, easy and tasty recipe kits
Industry: Food and Beverage
Topic: Food
Tone: Other
Outline & Structure: We need a regular food writer to write for a leading foodie brand who deliver monthly recipe kits to inspire cooking at home. Think Hello Fresh, with a twist (more details will be revealed for shortlisted writers). You will be working on behalf of our agency who are managing the digital media for this brand. That means that if you prove yourself to be dependable and talented, there is the possibility of much more work if you want it. This could even lead to a full-time (but remote) position for the right candidate.
For now, on an ongoing monthly basis we will need:
1 x in-depth content piece aimed at appealing to bloggers and media/PR (1000 words / approx £50 fee each)
4 x regular blog articles (500 words / approx £25 each)
2 x Twitter posts per day (approx 50p per post)
1 x Facebook post per day (approx 60p per post)
We are taking over the management of this brand on Jan 1st, so we really need someone who can work with us over the next few weeks (not including the holiday days of course!) to produce the first few weeks of content. This probably won't include any blogs, but we will be looking for input into the quarterly editorial calendar we are putting together.
Please send a sample of your writing, and explain your experience in the food sector. Please also tell me what you understand about the social media aspect (i.e. do you manage any food brands social channels?), and what, if any, experience you have working with food bloggers that could help us further down the line.
We are really looking for a competent partner to help us produce content, and come up with ideas to help grow the brand and gain exposure.
UK based, native English speakers only please as we may want to meet at some point.
