Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Num. of articles: On-going
Words per article: 300-500, variable
Blog/website url: http://www.fintechwarrior.com
Information for the blog/website: It's a site for recording news and perspective in the financial technology sector
Industry: Business
Topic: The business of Financial Technology or 'FinTech'
Tone: Informal/Casual
Outline & Structure: Hi there I'm looking for someone to contribute some blog posts on the topic of Financial Technology or FinTech. Now and again when I have time, I write on FinTech Warrior (www.fintechwarrior.com). I don't have that much time because I'm doing quite a lot of consultancy.
I'd like to document the sector with an on-going series of blog posts highlighting turning points, new announcements, reviews and even some interviews with some executives from around the industry. For example, here's an article that caught my attention: http://www.finextra.com/news/fullstory.aspx?newsitemid=26501 ("Barclaycard teams with Southampton FC for next evolution of bPay bands").
I'd like to build an archive of interesting and stimulating posts covering the FinTech arena -- for my own reading and to share with my colleagues in the industry.
So I'm looking for a series of contributions.
It would be ideal if you've got some experience with the FinTech marketplace but that's not necessary -- but you do need to be able to write competently!
I've set the tone to be informal and casual -- if you take a look at FinTech Warrior you'll note that I deliberately don't stick to the Queen's English. I'm quite happy beginning a sentence with 'and'. I'm looking for accessible and stimulating contributions.
Additionally, I haven't specified a cost -- my budget is flexible depending on how I'm feeling (as it's all being funded by me) so I'm keen to hear ideas. I think it would be helpful, in the first instance, to give me a rough idea of expected cost per blog or something like that.
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes:
