Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking for a translator of my non-fiction book on Venice, Italy. It is 150,000 words in English and i would like to get a very good translation. But first, I would like to ask a number of translators to translate a sample of the text. On that basis I will then ask them to translate a few chapters to send to publishers. If that goes, well we would likely go ahead with the whole book. Please bid ONLY for the 1000 words of the sample text I have submitted. Thanks Neal

    No, I have updated the offer. I am looking for a sample translation of 1000 words. On that basis of that, I will decide to whom to give a few chapters work (50,000 maybe) and then, depending on whether I sell that to a publisher, i would ask for the whole job to be done. Right now i am just seeing how you would translate the attached sample.
