Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
** Blog posts, whitepapers and technical guides are needed for a digital marketing agency on an ongoing basis. UK-based writers only. Ongoing work potential of 3,000 words or more per month initially **
Hi everybody,
I have an ongoing writing opportunity. I have existing writers but looking to expand the team and I need technical writers who are experienced/knowledgeable in areas such as:
* IT / Technology
* SEO / Digital marketing
* eCommerce
The scope of this role may grow into other client-related topics/niches with time.
English needs to be the reader's first and primary written/speaking language and they need to be located in the UK and available for Skype calls. Any other applicants will be instantly rejected.
To be clear, I am looking for a single dedicated writer and not a team/agency.
Bidders responding accurately to points A-H below in their response will be prioritised.
Please respond with:
A) Your rate per article in £GB, per 100 words. I am not going to state the rate in this job posting, but the rate is obviously important. Regular, high volumes of content are on offer in this role and significant bidding time here on PPH can be avoided with this regular work
B) Provide me with 3 article links (or add attachments) you have authored that went live in the past month (preferably) or in the last 3 months within this niche.
C) Provide me with 1-2 article links (or add attachments) you have authored at any time in the past which represent examples of your best work in this niche. Diversity is key, it would be good to see shorty snappy blog posts as well as detailed technical guides/whitepapers.
D) Confirmation you can easily deliver at a rate of 3,000 words (4-5 articles) or more per month consistently, without delay and availability concerns? What is the highest number of articles you have the capacity for?
E) Please provide me with all website links for websites you personally own and/or write for (if this is commercial in confidence, I understand!), please state the genre instead.
F) Any other information you consider beneficial to your application, e.g., other specialist niches you operate in.
G) Please confirm you are based in the UK and if so, which area of the UK you live in
H) Please confirm whether you have experience in any of the additional areas:
i) Writing with SEO/keyword optimisation in mind
ii) WordPress and uploading managing blog posts so that they are formatted for SEO and display correctly
iii) Social media posting, sharing and promotion
iv) Content marketing for link building e.g. guest posting, PR, outreach
The areas above are not mandatory but would be beneficial. Any examples of these would be appreciated.
Trial article:
I will need a trial article for shortlisted candidates. I would need the candidate to raise an hourlie for an article and I will buy that off them to pay for the trial article.
Please read this additional information:
>Articles must be highly professional, must be unique (pass CopyScape), must be accurate for spelling and grammar (pass Grammarly), include 1 copyright-free image per 300 words - quote with these quality standards in mind
>We will supply article titles and support/guidance but may expect/ask for ideas as well
>I expect unlimited revisions until the content is correct. Based on experience though, content should be signed-off in a maximum of 3 iterations (the original and 2 reworks)
>Communication will be remote, so it is especially well suited to home workers. If you have Skype access, state this as it is an advantage. Hours of working are up to you, so it also suits evening and weekend working
>Adherence to agreed timescales is especially important
>The project will continue on an ongoing weekly basis. Breaks/holidays are fine, we just need to agree them 2-3 weeks in advance :)
>I have immediate work to allocate
>Successful writers will invoice me in PPH as each batch is completed. Payment will be made once the final version of the content has been approved
I hope this could be the start of a great working relationship,
Kind regards,
David
