Description
Experience Level: Expert
I am looking for an editor to help self-publish a book through KDP co-authored by Jeff Cox – a best-selling author of “The Goal”.
The title of the book is “Stand Back to Grow” and is a business novel about an overwhelmed business owner who is chasing his own tail, his health and private life deteriorating and not being able to find a way out. Throughout the story the main character realises, that the only way out of the situation is to transform his business so that it can work without him having to be involved in every aspect of it. Attached is a synopsis/blurb and the first page of the book to get a feel of the writing style.
Unfortunately, despite the well-known coauthor, publishers have rejected our submission, therefore we are looking at self-publishing. The book is relatively short with 49,000 words and 170 pages in its current layout. The manuscript has been proof-read, so it is ready for final editing.
Publishing via Amazon KDP is probably the best option and therefore experience in this field is required, although I am open to other suggestions that I may not be aware of.
The aim is to publish the book early 2024.
The budget will be discussed depending on the scope involved, however I am hoping for assistance throughout the publication process.
Please get in touch if you need any more information.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Michael

You say the manuscript has been proofread, that means it is already in proof stage, and ready to go to print, so what kind of editing is it you want?
