Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
We are looking to commission a number of business roleplay scripts that can be used by actors and also digitised. The scripts should last for 5-10 minutes, an example of a scenario/roleplay brief is given below for behavioural feedback.
The structure of the script would be:
Actor: Scripted response
Participant: 3 possible options to choose from with one correct answer and feedback for the incorrect answers
Example:
Actor: "Hi there I understand you want to talk to me about something?"
Participant:
1. "Thanks for coming in. I wanted to do a quick debrief about today's staff meeting." [Incorrect] - Too direct, try and build rapport first
2. "Glad you could make it how are things?" [Correct]
3. "Do you know why you're here?" [Incorrect] - try and start things by building rapport before getting straight to the matter as this puts people more at ease.
Behavioural Feedback Overview
In this ‘Behavioral Feedback’ learning module, learners take on the role of a senior manager at a fictional IT firm. They are tasked with providing feedback to an employee who made comments in a company-wide meeting that offended his colleagues. The learner must communicate that his behavior was offensive, and help him identify actionable changes to make going forward.
SKILLS PRACTICED
Constructive Feedback
Conflict Resolution
Empathy
Positive Reinforcement
Probing Questions
Managing Difficult Conversations
Motivating
Resolving Issues
Verbal Communication
We have a template that can be used and we would expect scenarios to be completed within 2 weeks or sooner. Should scenarios be completed we have more work to follow.
