Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I require a professionally written, well designed CV. As an Interim Manager (general management, sort-outs, rationalisations etc) I have a wide and extensive background over some 20+ years. However feel that not selling myself to prospective employers and a new profile needs to better illustrate what I have achieved at my projects in order to distinguish myself from other candidates, perhaps needs to sell my key strengths.
Will send over CV to relevant bidders.
Ideally an understanding of the Interim/Project management industry would understand the market place and type of CV attritibutes required.
A recruiter offering their CV re-write stated the following not too flattering comments!
To be honest, as I\'m reading this, nothing is jumping out at me, saying I just picked up the CV of a high calibre professional. It is surely not highlighting your experience level or skill-set. Where are all of your powerful, hard-hitting job descriptions? Your job descriptions are much too BLAND and unexciting as an executive-level candidate. Employers need to clearly see how you are better than the other candidates with similar experience. From the way the CV is worded, you seem to be more of a \"doer\" than an \"achiever\". Too many of your job descriptions are task-based and not result-based, meaning they tell what you did-not what you achieved. To be effective and create excitement, it needs to be results-based: What was achieved as a result of what you did? Employers are looking for results. They want to know you have solved problems similar to theirs and that you achieved the results for which they are looking.
Moving on, the language of the CV has poor impact, does not generate excitement, and does not position you as a leader in your area of expertise. It\'s \"average\" - not what you want when you are trying to sell your abilities and position yourself above the competition. It reads like every other CV and will not inspire most readers to make contact with you.
