Travel guides for UK Towns

Experienced writers are urgently sought to produce friendly and concise guides to regional UK towns, for travellers and people looking to live there.

Each guide will be typically 3,000-5,000 words will need to be rigorously researched and written from a “local’s perspective” – covering the town’s, attractions, where to stay, etc to the more general aspects (eg. history, demographics, crime rate, schools etc). The tone should be friendly but formally written.

Applicants must be:

UK-based
Have a portfolio of previously published work (ideally travel and/or history)
Be knowledge with SEO and writing for the web
Be able to work to work on their initiative
