SEO Professional

I have a small Wordpress site (10 main pages + subsidiary content pages ). It has been built by a developer, and I only have access to top-level stuff at the moment (content, not structure). I am looking for an experienced and reputable SEO and Wordpress expert to ensure the site is fully optimised, and has the best chance to grow when we start driving traffic to it.

I have the Yoast plugin, and have been trying to follow it where I can, but there seems to be conflicting advice, and things that would compromise readability if they were to score higher for SEO. This has left me a little confused to say the least!

We also have a Raven account, and have addressed as many issues as we can, but likewise, have been left a bit confused by some of the issues that are not so obvious to fix... For example, we have 16 content issues where duplicate content has been found, but most of these are on pages called 'archive...' I am unsure if these are important, will cause issues or can be hidden from crawls etc. It also cites that none of the images have titles. They do, I just think this is a Wordpress issue. Again, I am unsure how important this is or if it can be ignored.

I have a list of keywords, but am unsure how these can/should be used to get the best balance between readability, function and SEO. I will supply keywords but may require some additional research to optimise.

Possible issues/things that need addressing:

- Full meta tag, title and description editing and optimisation
- URL optimisation
- Page titles optimisation
- Manual keyword optimisation of each page
- Image optimisation (titles, alt-tag, size)
- Clean up any duplicate titles/pages/content issues
- Address page load time issues
- Check image/text that appears when pages are shared to Facebook and optimise (check image size/copy fit for purpose)
- Check Google webmaster integration & configuration
- Check Google Analytics integration & configuration
- Fix any broken/rel="nofollow" links
- Internal linking
- External linking (high-quality only, bookmarking etc)


I would also like someone to make the following upgrades to the site:

- Add social sharing buttons
- Add author bio plugin to blog posts
- Add subscribe form to bottom of blog posts
- Setup cookies correctly
- Social media share buttons on blog posts

Ideally we would like the majority of the work carried out over the next 3/4 days (we understand link building will take longer), but we are looking for quality over speed so please just advise the best timeframe you think you could work to.

We are content writers ourselves, so don't need anyone to produce articles on our behalf. If however your link building strategy requires original content, we are happy to discuss providing this going forward.

This is a one-off job for now, but if done well it will result in an ongoing commitment, and even referrals to our own clients who often ask us about these sorts of services (getting us confused with technical SEOs that we are not!)
