Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Num. of articles: 1 per month
Words per article: 400
Information for the blog/website: Entrepreneurship interviews - would suit blogger, writer, researcher, journalist etc.
Industry: Business
Topic: Entrepreneurship
Tone: Informal/Casual
Outline & Structure: If you have ever seen the '60-second interview' in Metro, which looks like this:
http://metro.co.uk/2013/03/06/alan-arkin-argo-best-picture-oscar-was-great-but-i-really-hate-award-ceremonies-3526626/
...that's what we're after, for interesting entrepreneurs.
We provide the questions, you need to find interesting small business owners (one a month) and get the questions answered. We have some ideas on where to find suitable candidates; if you know some too, that's just fine.
Interviews can be done over the phone or by email as you wish.
We do NOT want Richard Branson or Alan Sugar (you won't get them, and they're irrelevant for our audience - we want man-of-the-people types.)
We think this should require 30 mins research, 1 hour of writing and 30 mins of generally arranging, chasing etc. per article.
You need to be an experienced writer or blogger, with some examples to demo; and have an abiding interest in business and entrepreneurship.
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: We want one per month for now. If it's more convenient to do two simultaneously for two months, that's fine with us.
