Fictional Storytelling script writing for YouTube Documentaries

We make YouTube documentaries, and we’re looking for a scriptwriter focused on story-telling who is personally interested in technology because we make videos on those topics.

The goal is to make in-depth, facts-packed 10-15min videos on technology topics. Some of the topics will be speculations or fiction so you have to be creative with the writing and be able to present all of the information in a way that is entertainig and informative at the same time.

You as a script writer are one of the most important pieces when a video like the one linked above is coming to a reality. You are the architect, you are the storyteller. You are the one that needs to have in mind a clear picture of what the video is going to look like. And you are responsible for the fact if the video is entertaining and interesting enough or not.

We’re looking for people who can take information and package it into sentences that are enjoyable to listen. Because information alone is not enough. We strive to provide stories.

This is not about writing articles. Nobody will -read- the text that you are writing but a lot of people will HEAR it. Thus the way it’s written should be more of a conversational tone. Like you are explaining something to someone in a way that they’re so hooked into what you are saying that they want to stay until the end to hear it all.

Every script you write will be narrated. Thus you can even play with the tone of the narration in different phases of the script.

Before each script, I will provide the video title, related keyword or keywords, and also the source of the information.

Your job will be to do deep research to gather information from multiple sources online and get to know the topic, and based on that write the scripts. But never copy/paste. Everything you write must be original.

**REQUIREMENTS**

- perfect English grammar
- Deep research before writing
- no repeating information in one script
- Can’t use swearing/cursing
- Fast turnaround (max 3 days per script)

Each script will be around 2500 words.

The price is $200 for 10 scripts ($20 per one) and grows over time as the channel grows!

Write the word “WRITER” at the beginning of your proposal so I can filter out people who don’t read job posts.
