Creative, flexible, skilled copywriter for agency overflow tasks

Outline & Structure: I run a small, but busy PR and comms agency, with an in-house team including a full-time copywriter, but on occasions we find ourselves with too much copy to write and not enough hands! Therefore, we are looking for a friendly, flexible and professional copywriter to act as our overflow writer when things are particularly busy.

The type of tasks we'd be looking for assistance on include:

- Ghost-writing articles for trade magazines and websites
- Ghost-writing articles for consumer/lifestyle magazines and websites
- Magazine editorial - various feature writing
- Article rewriting (where we have multiple requests for same article and need to rework one article into several original articles)

Due to the nature of being our overflow copywriter, I need someone who is a full-time freelance copywriter and can therefore be responsive and fit us in at relatively short notice. Sometimes we'll need copy back within 24 hours, but its usually going to be between 2-3 days or perhaps even up to a week or so.

I am looking for someone with exceptional writing skills and is able to really 'think' about the topic in hand and write authentically from the perspective of the reader and also in the style of the author. We have to write on topics from smoke ventilation panels through to breaking through your emotional barriers, so I'm looking for someone who really understands the skill of the written word and is happy to lend themselves to a wide range of briefs.

I am only looking for UK-based native English speaking/writing freelancers and if you're based in the East of England all the better, although this is not essential.

For the right person/people, this will be an excellent ongoing relationship, as the more capacity we have as an agency, the more work we can turn out and therefore the more work we can take on at any one time! :)
