I am currently looking to recruit a freelance technical writer for a writing project. Following this project, there may be additional ongoing projects available.
The project involves writing an in depth technical article for property managers, mechanical engineers and construction professionals about considerations for plumbing and ventilation for offices post covid. It should focus on the key points about offices that are used intermittently or with lower occupancy and the also latest thinking about ventilation with regard to airborne virus transmission. It should cover the following areas :
Offices used less regularly or left unoccupied due to lock downs and work from home
- Legionella in water systems
- Drying out of plumbing traps
- Burst pipes
Ventilation requirements
- HSE advice
- CIBSE advice
- Latest/new thinking
The article will need to include
- A title
- An introduction of no more than 200 words that will entice the audience to read more
- 1000- 1500 words in total
- Sub titles where relevant
- Credible references for key information cited with links in the article
We require the following skills:
- A qualification and/ or experience in mechanical engineering or construction
- Perfect level of technical written English - must
