Description

Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the website: We have a website that needs fixed
Description of requirements/features: Expert skills in SQL Wordpress needed to help recover a site to fully functioning after the site was transferred to a new server.
Extra notes: We have an existing site that is built upon Wordpress and recently our hosting company transferred the site from a cPanel server to a Plesk server.

We have now discovered that the contact forms (Formidable Forms Pro) are not accepting entries, and the image library in admin is not usable.

Upon further inspection, I can see that all of the tables in the SQL database are displaying the error:

"Current selection does not contain a unique column. Grid edit, checkbox, Edit, Copy and Delete features are not available."

My suspicion is that the database has been damaged in some way during the transfer, and we have not been provided with a backup to recover from.

We have cloned the site off to a development server so that we can work on the site without taking down the live version, on the basis that the database can be repaired and then applied to the live site.

Do you have the necessary skills in SQL and Wordpress to help us recover this site?

If so, please apply - we need a quick response!

Is the image library using a plugin, if yes plugin name?

It seems there is problem with a table

  • Muhammad I.

    Gordon,
You need to update your phpMyAdmin version as the present one seems to be not supported. Which phpMyAdmin version you are using now?

  • Shan S.

    Hi Gordan,
The error message is not related to database/table being corrupt. It's a warning by PHPMyAdmin that Wordpress table doesn't have proper structure.

    Regards,
    Shan
