Description
I'm a freelance journalist, so am looking for a fairly basic brochure website. The website will probably consist of two-three static pages (my biog, terms and conditions, and contact details), and two pages where I can demonstrate my portfolio of work. It's unlikely that I'll want to update the site more than once per year.
I still have screengrabs of my old website, and much of the text for my update site is already prepared. You can therefore assume I have a fairly clear of what I'm looking for, both in terms of look and feel and content.

Hey Richard,
I have submitted my proposal, please have a look on this.
I have few questions regarding your project, please respond to following questions to discuss further and get started on your project:-
> May i know your timelines for this project?
> Will you provide me content , logo & Graphics ?
> Can you share any reference blog website for an idea about layout?
> Are you comfortable with Parallax Layout as it's the Modern Layout and it suits your website?
Hope to get a positive response from you.
Thanks

Hello,
Do you want this website to be built with WordPress?Richard P.09 May 2017I don't mind. I'm not an expert client but, if I want to make the odd minor changes to the website's CMS, I'd like to be able to do so by myself.
Z J.09 May 2017Then wordpress would be a perfect fit for this job please check out the hourlie below it covers all your requirements

Hi
Whats your deadline?
Which CMS you want to use?Richard P.09 May 2017I'd like it done in the next month or so. My website isn't crucial to my business, so I'm basically trying to fit in the project around my regular work.
I don't have a strong view about what CMS my website uses - so long as, as an non-expert user, I can occasionally make minor changes to its contents.Zubair I.09 May 2017Thanks for getting back to me.
Yeah its doable and I'll complete this project in 10 working days including premium quality work and regarding CMS don't worry about anything I'll guide you about everything and will use very user friendly layout so you can easily manage it. -
Hi There,Do you have the content and images ready?
Richard P.09 May 2017Yes to both.
Although I'm open to some creativity regarding my new website design, I've just spent the last couple of days writing out a detailed - page-by-page - project spec based largely on my old design. This spec includes all of my new website text and also the names of all specific image files I'd like my website to include. I'm that type of client...EdgeTech S.09 May 2017Thanks for the clarification Can you share any similar example for better understanding of the type of design you are after?

Hi,
Have you purchased the Domain and Hosting package??
Richard P.09 May 2017I own the domain and my previous website was hosted by 1and1. Although I find the backend of 1and1 infuriating un-user friendly, I'm planning to stay with them because I can't be bothered with the hassle of moving.
Web K.09 May 2017Before sending you a proposal Can you tell me about your budget flexibility?

Do you have any design for the page like what you want home page design , so i have idea while developing the website.
Richard P.09 May 2017I have screenshots of my old website, which I was pretty happy with.

Richard, would you like to go for a static Pure HTML website instead of a WordPress one? As this will keep you assured from any hacking in future.
Regards,
- TanyaRichard P.09 May 2017I don't know. I don't know much about website operations apart from how to update an idiot-proof CMS. I'm happy to be guided regarding alternative approaches.
Nitesh L.09 May 2017If you do not want any hacking, then traditional static pure HTML's are best. But you need to have basic HTML knowledge to edit and upload the pages or you need to have a webmaster do this for you. If your purpose is a brochure website, I recommend you pure HTML as this will also facilitate SEO. Your thoughts.
