Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
General information for the website: Selling bespoke doors and cabinets
Kind of development: Customization of existing wordpress website with woo commerce
Description of requirements/features: I need this doing quite quickly due to several people on here that have already messed me around.
I have certain products on my website which can be made in any size. I have attached pictures of what I need to achieve which involves two custom fields for the product and using csv/database with logic to work out the pricing:
PRODUCT SIZE: On the product page the user will have drop down menus of standard sizes where when they click on a button, the drop downs turn into text fields where they can enter their own sizes. The price will then be calculated. This could be via means of a spreadsheet, database / formula etc.
DRILLED HOLES: The customer needs to be able to select custom drilling, and then enter the measurements. There is no calculation involved on this. Just X amount per hole drilled.
There are certain limits in place for the sizes, so a little message would have to appear if the customer tried to enter a size out of the range. Eg 100mm to 2500mm is the range, so if they tried putting in 95mm it would tell them it wasn't possible.
I have also attached an example of the pricing table on page 2 of the PDF. As you can see you choose the next size up and add 10% if it is a custom size. It will need logic of some kind as there is around 2.6 million combinations otherwise. So I need a simple database creating with a simple csv upload function to add values.
Hope all of that makes sense!
