Description
Experience Level: Expert
I would like to find a small, inexpensive web development team to build and develop a dynamic content, paid membership, community directory CMS website. I would like an ongoing relationship with the team members for continued development of this site and others into the future.
The site will probably be based on an open-source CMS like Joomla, Ruby on Rails, Drupal or WordPress with extensions/plug-ins. Code changes to the CMS and extensions/plugins, or building of new extensions/plugins may well be required to allow the desired functionality e.g. the content will be created by users themselves on the front end using some wiki style functions with a WYSIWYG editor in the article creation process that may need to be coded unless an extension can be found and adapted.
Non-disclosure agreements will need to be signed by all involved before real detail can be communicated. Examples of previous work which include coding will need to be provided and assessed, and information regarding the fees charged and time taken to build those sites, as well as references, will be required.
The development will be staged with payment milestones. The first stage will be to get some basic functions and get the site to a point where it is able to go live and receive membership income for profile and directory listings, whist maintaining the ability for all further developments to occur. Details of the first stage will need to be clarified and possibly a fixed cost agreed.
I really look forward to hearing from you and seeing your work! :)
