Need a Joomshaper Quickstart package installed on a Godaddy shared server.
These are the instructions they give ....I understand some but then i get lost !....
How to install Quickstart
It should be installed like Joomla itseft, step by step. Unfortunately, it is not possible in Joomla to install the Quickstart package inside an existing Joomla installation via the Extension Manager. Why? Because the Quickstart also includes the Joomla itself. This package is strictly for use with a new Joomla! installation to provide you with a duplicate of our demo for that particular template.
Warning! The QuickStart package cannot be installed through the Joomla Extension Manager.
You have to install Quickstart just like a typical Joomla 3.x installation process, with all typcial steps.
Preparations
Checking to ensure that you and your web host have the minimum requirements to run Joomla and QuickStart.
Downloading the most current version of Quickstart package (TemplateName_quickstart_j3_x.x.zip).
Unzipping the downloaded file to a folder on your hard drive.
Create a new database using the database wizard in cPanel and assign a database user full permissions. We suggest using a new/fresh database (MySQL) for all QS installations. But yes, you can use current ("old") database one as well.
Upload the extracted QuickStart folders and files to the desired location on your web server (the root directory | public_html folder mostly . To transfer files from your computer to a web server, you need special SFTP/FTP software, for example, FileZilla - can be a good choice.
Keeping this FTP/SFTP connection open so you have it handy during the installation.
Installing procedure
Open your browser and navigate to your main domain (i.e. http://mydomain.com), or to the appropriate subdomain (i.e http://mydomain.com/new/), depending on where you have uploaded the Joomla installation package.
You will be taken to the first screen of the Joomla Web Installer.
Please do not use "admin" as your default Super Admin Username (!).
Use something more unique during the installation process - security reasons.
Default Demo sample data will be automatically installed on your server.
After successful installation, you should see a successful message.
Remove index.html file from root folder - if you have it.
Rename htaccess.txt into .htaccess - SEO and security reasons.
Login to admin area www.domain.com/administrator or www.domain.com/new/administrator.
Helping tips
* The root directory is often called httpdocs, htdocs, httpd, public_html, or www. If you can't find that folder, your web hosting company should be able to help you out.
** If any of the required web server settings isn't met, you won't be able to install QuickStart. In that case, Joomla will display a screen of required settings and mark the ones that require attention. If there are any problems, get in touch with your web hosting company to have them correct the web server settings for you.
After installation
Access your administrator eg: www.yourdomain.com/administrator, login and then:
Go to System > System Information. Click on the tab called Folder Permissions and make sure all the folders listed are green: "Writable".
If not, change permissions for folders to 755 - use FTP tool for this task.
Update Joomla! core, all components, plugins if necessary.
Rename htaccess.txt file into .htaccess, and then enable SEF settings.
Enable GZip compression in Global Configuration.
Then think about site backup and security.
I see a directory listing or hosting info note rather than a web page.
The web server needs to be told to view index.php by default. In Apache, use the DirectoryIndex index.php directive. The simplest option is to create a file named .htaccess in the installed directory and place the directive there. Another option is to add the directive to the web server’s configuration files.
Check and delete index.html file from root directory if you have it.
