Description
Experience Level: Expert
In a fairly unique situation, I am representing a franchiser who sells products manufactured in Greece to the UK market. The manufacturer has a website which provides plenty of detail about all their products, but does not have any platform for individual customers to make online purchases.
The Greeks are not interested in extending the capability of their main website to include a sales page as they sell all their products to retailers and franchisees directly. They have however agreed to allow the franchiser I am representing to build a standalone website to allow UK customers to make purchases online. Here's what I need:
* A sales enabled website designed to look exactly like the manufacturer's main site - all the branding needs to be the same, fonts the same etc. Written consent has been given by manufacturer, so don't worry about copyright issues. All logos etc will be provided to you.
* The site needs to allow customers to view the products, read information about each product, and add products to cart and then ofcourse check out.
* Payment methods to be supported are all major card providers and Paypal. Payments to be sent to nominated UK bank account belonging to franchisee.
* Once purchase is made, an order summary needs to be generated and sent to a warehouse email address in the UK so that the order can be dispatched.
* At present, no interface into warehouse stock management software is required. But should sales track well, this may be a follow on project.
* Hi-res images of all products will be made available, as well as electronic format descriptions of each product.
* At present there are around 1000 products that will need to be listed on the website - each to have pics, description and pricing.
* Delivery charges will vary depending on location and quantity ordered, so this information will be supplied separately, but at this stage just note that varying delivery charges will need to be an inbuilt capability.
* Product offering changes from time to time, as well as pricing - so ongoing maintenance of the website will most likely be a requirement. It would be extremely advantageous if the web developer that builds the site continues to maintain it after completion of initial build.
I have punted a ball park costing of £3.5K GBP to begin with, however I am going to rely on the market to show me whether I have under or over budgeted for this project.
Please contact me if interested and I will supply as much detail as possible and give you links to manufacturer website so you can see what we are looking at. From there I would like interested parties to please offer a fixed price for the project.
Thanks for your time. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Are you able to share the URL so I can take a look?
-
Hi David are you able to share a link to the website so we can get an idea of the current design etc?
-
Can you provide the Greek website link? Thanks
-
Hi David, are you able to share the manufacturer's website? Since the branding and feel of the website will be copied, it would be good to have a look before submitting a proposal.
