Description
Experience Level: Expert
The website is for an Author who is self-publishing their books. I am the creative director for the books and website. And we are looking for someone to build and code the website for us.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can start work on this as soon as possible. The designs have all been completed, (site map and visuals provided - for reference). There is aprox 17pgs in total. Some pages will have a 'coming soon'. And we are open to advise on design v's function to take the files easily into a fluid layout for web.
We see this project developing in stages.
PHASE 1: being to get the main part of the site built.
Phase 2: to include the other sections:
(and these sections could be quoted outside the initial fee)
- e-Commerce in the future (merchandise / items such as tshirts, caps, etc.)
- There will also need to be a blog.
- And build of newsletter function.
- And links to the social media sites (possible extra work here, in future).
Note: the Buy now page - will either scroll down (or load to another page - that will list links to Amazon and e-book sites for purchasing the books) So function to buy books within this site is not needed.
We are based in London (Battersea), and ideally looking for a digital partner who is able to meet up for reviews and help us with training to use back-end (ie. for the content managed sections). And possible work with other projects too. There are probably loads of other questions that you need to know - so dont hesitate to reply if you do have any questions or need any further information about this brief. with thanks, anna
