Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am launching an exciting new blogging/networking website and am therefore seeking a talented develop/programmer.
The details of the brand/context will be discussed upon application but in order to give you an understanding of what is required, here is a specification.
*Please note - specification below is to show what is required for the website's construction, it is not the actual specifics of the site.
The website will allow users to state which of two mutually exclusive opinions they have of a specific object.
For example, at the top of webpage there will be a drop down menu with one of two options; the first option is 'I like' and the second option is 'I do not like. In the space to the right of the drop-down menu, users can state what object they are referring to. Filling both of these out will form the title of a new blog post. For example, the title of a post may be 'I like apples'. Just below the title generator will be a space for users to state why they like apples. Completing this will allow a post to be submitted.
The homepage itself will be split into two feeds. The feed on the left will show all of the posts where users have selected 'I like', and the feed on the right will show all of the posts where users have selected 'I do not like'.
The website will feature statistics regarding the posts made by users. For example, users will be able to see the percentage of posts that say 'I like' apples versus the percentage that say 'I do not like' apples.
The app will replicate the above in a mobile format.
There will be four tabs (in order from left to right):
1. I Like: Showing all of the 'I like' posts.
2. I Do not Like: Showing all of the 'I do not like' posts.
3. Profile: Showing all posts, and some info about the user.
4. New Post: Where users can submit new posts that show up on both the app and the website.
Please still feel free to apply if you do not have experience on the app side as I am still looking for a talented web developer.
I look forward to hearing from you!
