Video Editor Needed for YouTube Shorts / Reels / TikTok Property & Commentary Content

Project Description:
I’m looking for a skilled video editor to help turn long-form recordings and raw footage into engaging short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok.

The content is focused around property, housing, politics and commentary, often with opinion-led or controversial hooks, so I need someone who understands pacing, retention and how to make short-form content perform.

What I Need:
Editing of short clips (typically 30–90 seconds) from longer recordings, including:

Finding and cutting strong “hook” moments
Fast-paced editing for audience retention
Captions/subtitles (burned in)
Zoom cuts / punch-ins where appropriate
Graphics, headlines and on-screen text
B-roll or supporting visuals where relevant
Sound effects/transitions where they improve engagement (not overdone)
Formatting for vertical 9:16 content
Creation of attention-grabbing thumbnails/titles a bonus

Style I’m Looking For:
Think sharp, engaging, modern editing in the style of high-performing creators/podcast clips.

I want clips that feel:

Punchy
Intelligent
Professional
Viral-friendly, without looking gimmicky

Volume of Work:
Potential ongoing work for the right person. Initially looking to test with a small batch of clips, then scale.
