Video Editor for 2 x 90 second Book Trailers

We are seeking a talented and experienced video editor to create two book trailer videos for our upcoming releases. The videos will be 60-90 seconds long and will use stock footage to create engaging and attention-grabbing trailers that showcase the essence of our books. There will be a script provided which can be used as subtitles throughout the video.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating high-quality book trailers or promotional videos. They will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to transform ideas into visually stunning videos. They must be proficient in using video editing software and familiar with sourcing and editing stock footage.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with our team to understand the core message and theme of our books.
Conceptualize and storyboard creative ideas for the book trailers.
Source and edit stock footage to create visually appealing and engaging videos.
Add background music, sound effects, and voiceovers as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos that meet our specifications and requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in creating book trailers or promotional videos.
Excellent video editing skills and proficiency in using video editing software.
Experience in sourcing and editing stock footage.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
A portfolio of previous work demonstrating your skills and experience.
