Looking for a remote, project-based video editor for YouTube videos. No AI.
Ideal Candidate:
- Understands how to edit lifestyle videos/ vlogs + talking-to-camera videos
- Has a good eye for visuals, music, and emotion
- Can turn raw footage into a smooth, watchable story (not just a montage)
- Bonus if you actually enjoy watching YouTube (booktube/ travel) videos and understand what keeps people hooked.
Job Requirements:
- Experience editing YouTube long-form videos
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and flow
- Comfortable editing talking-to-camera + B-roll
- Good color grading and clean sound design
- Able to work with music to enhance emotion
- Able to take feedback and make revisions
- No AI used for the job
