New York City, NY, USI hired Joe to do a 35 seconds mini clip and all I got was a glued up version of the same exact footage I sent with NOTHING of importance. He pressure for payment as soon as he sent the work. I asked for a revision in order to at least have something and he refused. He asked for payment again, which at the end I released because I still honored his "time" and "effort". Needless to say, I am never hiring him again to do any type of work. Out of so many freelancers that could have helped me, I gave him the opportunity to re-do things and he chose the $15 dollars that the job was paying. He does not see the clients in this platform as a priority, he only cares about delivering whatever he thinks is good enough.

The initial brief was light, and after clarification, I delivered the video exactly as requested, following the agreed approach and scope. I cut the footage to music, enhanced pacing, and created a polished video as agreed.
After delivery, the client rejected the invoice and refused to pay unless I completed additional, out-of-scope work, effectively holding me to ransom. They later agreed to pay but told me I would receive a 1-star review unless I created a completely different video for a higher rating.
Claims that I “refused to provide a revision” and that I “only care about delivering whatever I think is good enough” are false, I offered adjustment, but what started as a edit to music turned in to a "star wars trailer" .
I delivered the work exactly as requested and communicated clearly about the scope from the start.
I strongly recommend caution when working with this client, as expectations and scope may change after work is delivered, and payment may be withheld to pressure additional work or influence ratings.
