FAST VIDEO EDITOR NEEDED FOR ANIMAL SHOWREELS (260 ANIMALS APPROX)

DESCRIPTION:
We are The Animal Talent Ltd, a UK animal talent agency and we are refreshing our website. This is our present site:

Each of our 260 animals needs a short showreel video created from raw clips provided by their owners. These videos will appear at the very top of each animal’s bio page on our new website , so they need to be sharp, clear, and engaging - but this is fast editing, not full scale production.

THE TASK:
▪️Download raw clips for each animal from our Google Drive;
▪️Cut out downtime (eg when nothing is happening or an animal doesn’t respond immediately);
▪️Remove repeated/duplicate actions (unless they’re performed in a different/interesting way);
▪️Arrange clips so the best tricks/actions come first;
▪️Apply basic adjustments to the final version: trim, brighten, increase saturation/vibrancy and add a little sharpness so that it all matches our house style;
▪️Export as one continuous showreel; and
▪️If you come across an animal where a polished showreel already exists, or where the owner’s submitted video is already of a high standard and all in one continuous clip, keep a list of links to those profile pages instead of re-editing. We’ll doublecheck and confirm those are fine.

IMPORTANT:
▪️We only want efficient editors and not professional videographers;
▪️You’ll be working with some poor quality raw footage - the skill is in making it snappy and watchable;
▪️Each edit should take about 30 minutes maximum per animal
▪️Budget is around £1560 for the full set (which, at a payable rate of £12 per hour, equates to around 30 minutes per animal)

    Hey Billie,

    Kindly address some of my concerns regarding the project so that i can deliver something exactly like you are looking for:

    – Would you prefer I deliver batches of finished showreels (e.g., 20–30 at a time for review), or should I work straight through the 260 animals and send everything at the end?

    – Do you already have a style guide (preferred brightness, vibrancy, font if needed, export settings, etc.), or should I create a repeatable editing template/preset to ensure every showreel feels consistent?

    – Are there any priority animals (perhaps your most in-demand talent) that you’d like edited and ready first, before I move onto the full batch?

    – You mentioned ~30 minutes per animal — would you like me to stick strictly to speed, or would you prefer I spend extra time on standout animals (like those with complex tricks) to give them a stronger edge?
