Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Overview:
My name is Joseph Zapinski, I run a YT channel (@JoZapinski) where I talk about language learning and Duolingo. My goal with this channel is to make streamer style content, something like Ludwig or JSchlatt, but applied to the language learning niche. As of today, Nov. 12th, I have 4,700 subscribers and average about 8,000 views per day with 510,000 total views.
From a high level, I’m looking for a video editor that can take initial edits of specifically my Duolingo speedrun videos and bring them to the finish line. Initially, we would be sharing the video editing process with hopes that in the future I could just hand the raw footage off and you edit all of it.
How It’d Work:
- I film the video and create an initial, rough edit. No music, no graphics, no zoom ins or zoom outs, just clipping together the raw footage and removing obviously boring parts.
- You take this rough edit and bring it to the finish line using my existing editing style (pacing, music, fonts, colors). I will provide all of the assets.
Ideal Candidate:
- Someone that can work within my existing editing style. It’s nothing crazy or super difficult, I just have certain branding elements that I want to keep consistent.
- Someone that can turn these videos around at most a week or so after I send you the existing edit.
Payment:
- $100/video while editing responsibilities are shared.
- $180/video if you’re awesome and I can just hand off raw footage to you to do all of it from start to finish.
