Description
Experience Level: Entry
I am looking for a dependable, talented 3D artist for my work that does excellent work in a timely manner and follows instructions. Preferably a 3D artist that not only can do photo-realistic renders but can also provide animation services.
I have been working with an artist for the last couple years but they are no longer available, so I am looking to replace that person. Besides still renders, My projects also sometimes involve animation. For this project, I have screened several apparently qualified artists to check quality, creativity, communication clarity, reliability and ability to follow instructions. To test this, I have assigned one image to virtually stage as a test to see how the project goes. NOTE: this is not just a test for this project but is an audition for other 3D work. This project has a basic budget of $20-$30 per image (considering complexity and reusabilty of same items rendered at a different angle once created. If you would like to accept doing a test image, I will send you a private invitation for the job, it will be for one of the bedrooms with a price of $30 for successful completion. If you are in agreement, let me know and I will assign one of the photos to you to work on.
NOTE: I am very easy to work with. I give very clear instructions. I expect professional results. The reason I am doing this in this manner is because I have already tried out a couple of artists that claimed they could do the work. After numerous tries, I got back results of inaccurate perspective and failure to comply with instructions. I will not pay for incompetent or poor quality work. I am delighted to pay for professional results and make it a policy to pay all bills immediately upon successful completion.
Job Specifics:
The task is to place furniture and decor inside the empty room that matched the perspective and lighting direction of the room and matches the furniture and decor in the style guide provided by the interior designer. All items should look photo-realistic and also be consistent with the colors shown in the style guide. The furniture style does not need to be exactly like the style guide, but the closer to the style guide we get, the more the interior designer will be pleased - as close to exactness is preferred if at all possible.
In-progress proofs may be shown composited with the photo. The final render after proof approval will be a PNG or PSD file on a layer that can be dropped into the photo, The final render will need to match the native resolution of the photo (approx 8256 Pixel width).
At the completion of each job and payment for services, I will require the working application file and any needed links supplied to me for safe keeping. If possible, I prefer the work to be done in Blender (I do not work in Blender but I can at least open and view the files), but it is not a job requirement - whatever software that gets the job done with the best quality is fine with me.
All of the hi-rez photos and resources are in this folder (there is a PDF in the folder called Vintage Way Style Guide - that is the reference for furniture & decor styles):

I have attached a before & after of one of the completed files to show what we are working with and what I expect for the finished work. Contact me with any question.
