Why is this still up? I reported it hours ago as, setting aside for a moment the budget being ludicrously low, it clearly violates PPH's rules regarding requesting free samples.
Beenish T.21 Oct 2020Hi there, I wasn’t aware that free samples were not allowed to be requested. However my plan was to get a paid sample from 2/3 proposals at the rate they bid for divided by 160. I have proposed a budget as I’m not aware of this as I haven’t done it before. However I do know I need 160 animated videos. What do I do? Put a budget up which is affordable to me as a ‘start up’. It’s not my problem that I’m not setting a budget higher so you can get more £ in your pocket. In my previous jobs awarded I have put a budget up of x amount and rewarded someone the job that proposed 150% higher than what I originally put up.

160? these could take a year
Beenish T.21 Oct 2020Well done for working that out! I disagree however. Maybe for someone lazy and doesn’t know what they’re doing.

This is unbelieveable. 160 animation and each video 3-10 minutes for a budget of 2000 pounds. I``m afraid this is a a very unrealistic expectation of work and sensible people should not apply even a sample 3-10 minute video is requested to be done for free prior.
Beenish T.21 Oct 2020Nothing is unrealistic. All about who is up for it and who wants to work hard and make some buck.
Video Expertz21 Oct 2020Yeah nothing is unrealistic when someone else is doing it for you. Nevertheless Good Luck with the hiring.

I have to agree entirely with the person above. The scope of this project is entirely unfair. When will jobs on this platform be moderated and stop normalising modern slavery? I think you should take this post down and I wish people would stop bidding on jobs posted by crazy/greedy people.
Beenish T.21 Oct 2020Bid what you feel your worth then. Not comment and waste your time. I’ve had various bids at different amounts. Ultimately it’s about quality. Just because you’re not winning the project at your expensive quotes by the east isn’t my problem. They’re ready to do it at a cheaper rate and work harder.
Jonny K.21 Oct 2020In my book, it's never a waste of time to tell someone they're being an exploitative slave driver. You evidently have no remote idea what it takes to deliver the work required. People might be "ready to do the work" but it doesn't change the fact that you're just exploiting their desperation.

Oh my, £12.5 for each video.. EACH
With voiceover, creation of the designs, and hold there is more... Check the scripts.... and animate all the 160 video that are between 3 and 10 minutes.
Would do you like some massage too ?
