Video Editor – Final Polish for 8 Short Course Videos

This is a post-production editing role only. No filming, shooting, or content creation required.
I am looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented video editor to complete the final polish on a set of 8 short videos (approx. 1.5–2.5 minutes each) for a professional course on stress and performance.

The videos are already ~90% complete. This is not a creative re-edit. It is a precision finishing task to bring the content to publication quality with consistency across the full set.

The audience is senior professionals. The tone must remain clean, credible, and understated—not overly stylised or “YouTube-like.”

Scope of Work

Apply consistent final edits across 8 videos
Refine pacing and remove minor dead space
Ensure audio clarity and consistent levels
Standardise captions/subtitles (style will be provided)
Align intro/outro format across all videos
Ensure visual consistency (fonts, spacing, positioning)
Light tidy-up of transitions and timing

No heavy animation, no redesign, no change to core content.

Deliverables

8 finalised videos ready for publication (MP4)
Consistent formatting across all files
One revision round included

Process

Paid test: 1 video first
Feedback and alignment
Full batch released on successful completion

What I am looking for

Strong attention to detail and consistency
Experience editing talking-head / course / educational content
Ability to follow a clear specification without overcomplicating
Professional judgement on pacing and clarity

What I am NOT looking for

Overly creative or stylised editing
Heavy use of transitions, effects, or animations
“Social media” editing style

Editing Approach
This is a precision finishing task. The focus is on:

Consistency across all videos
Clean pacing and removal of unnecessary pauses
Clear, balanced audio
Subtle, professional captions
Minimal transitions (no heavy effects or stylisation)

The overall style should remain clean, restrained, and appropriate for a senior professional audience.
Budget
£600–£900 total for full set (depending on experience and efficiency)
