Description
Experience Level: Entry
Here is the cut of the film and the VFX notes.
We still have some minor adjustments and cuts to make, right now these time codes are related to specific shots and movements of the dancer for reference and what we are proposing for VFX.
FILM ROUGH CUT AND VFX SHOTS:

VFX NOTES:
First VFX Frame:
Starts on black screen
Leaf flies in carries, gowski logo holds in center, then fades.
Leaf continues to dance around where gowski logo was
Fade into the first shot of her moving the leaf.
Rack focus from leaf into her and defocus the leaf.
Leaf picks up pace and flies off screen top right.
(Extra grass pieces, and very small sticks, gravel bits)
Second VFX Frame:
(0:22) Upon her raising her hands, we see a small tuft of leaves and grass come up from the ground and fall back down to the ground. Its a quick lift and a slightly slower fall
Third VFX Frame:
(1:08) as she kicks to the right, we start to see a slight breeze pick up from the ground and swirl slightly. The next shot the swirl concentrates to her right foot and kicks up in an arch with her leg (1:11), and then a slightly slower fall of the elements, breeze disappears
Fourth VFX Frame:
(1:31) Breeze picks up before she kicks, sweeps above with the first kick, swirls back around for her second kick
Fifth VFX Frame:
(1:41) as she starts to spin, the swirls of the wind pickup along with small leaves and blades of grass until
(1:44) she reaches towards the mountain, the elements will slow down in mid air, she turns towards them to try to control the elements further, but they start to fall away, until they all drop suddenly at (1:50) before she falls to the ground.
Sixth VFX Frame:
(2:31) on the jump, a small tuft of leaves and grass come up from the ground and fall back down to the ground. Its a quick lift and a slightly slower fall
this happens again a few times at...
(2:39), (2:41) and (2:43), they get slightly larger with each kick
Seventh VFX Frame:
(3:10) we get the breeze starting to swirl from the ground around her, at (3:14) the breeze starts growing in intensity until...
(3:20) it lifts with her as she does a big jump in slow motion, a beautiful grand motion as she takes flight.
As she lands in triumph, the breeze starts to circle around her, following her spins in the aerial shot. The breeze settles now following her commands and at (3:28) sweeps up and over with her foot, Following her kicks backwards at (3:32). From there, she kicks again into the aerial shot at (3:35), where we see the wind swirling around her, following her motions.
(3:42) the wind swirls, follows her hands from the stretches to her fancy hand technique. as she swirls her arm up and over, the wind concentrates above her fingers in a tower or air (not a tornado, more like a swirl) and disappates at (3:55)
Eighth VFX Frame:
(4:03) as she reaches up with her hands, wind swirls in from out of frame, concentrating above her fingers like before, but now start to swirl down around her arms and she sits down on the grass. Swirls continue swirling around her arms, and small gusts fly toward the camera as we pull back from her. This goes until the end.
Please review these notes, if you have more specific questions about the shots, I'll make sure to send some loom videos to explain in real-time what we are imagining.
From here we will determine the timeline, budget, and what is feasible. Excited to see what you can do!
