Create a Beautiful Family Holiday Video Montage – Maldives Trip

PROJECT OVERVIEW

I’m looking to hire a skilled video and photo editor to professionally edit and compile family holiday footage into an engaging, cinematic short film.

This project will involve:

Enhancing and colour correcting 151 video clips (mostly GoPro)

Retouching 103 JPEG photographs

Selecting the best moments from both

Creating a finished video set to music (MP3s provided)

PROJECT FACTS:

Date of Trip: 23 December 2024 – 7 January 2025

Total Videos: 151 clips (190 minutes in total)

Average Clip Length: 1.25 minutes

Photos: 103 images

Video Sources: 90% GoPro, 10% Android smartphone

Final Output: 1 x video montage (approx. 15–20 mins)

Music: 4–5 MP3 tracks (to be supplied after edit begins)

WHAT I NEED:

Photo Editing:

Retouch and colour-correct 103 JPEGs

Apply consistent tone, lighting, and sharpness

Video Editing:

Colour correction and light balancing

Trimming, sequencing, stabilisation where needed

Transitions, slow motion or zooms where creatively appropriate

No background audio – video will be synced to supplied MP3s

CREATIVE DIRECTION:

Select the best video/photo moments

Build a clear visual story arc (e.g. by day or activity)

Add tasteful transitions

FINAL DELIVERY:

Edited video: 15–20 mins (1080p or 4K)

Project source files (e.g. Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve)

What to Include in Your Proposal:
