Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Hello,
I work with YouTuber Matt Steffanina (over 12 million subscribers across 3 channels) and we’re looking to bring another person onto our editing team.
Initially we would like someone that can help us with our Dance Tutorial channel, Dance Tutorials Live, but if all goes well it could potentially turn into a full time position working on everything from Vlogs to comedy sketches.
We’re looking for someone who:
is fluent in english
is efficient
communicates well
Has basic editing skills (ideally in Final Cut, but Premiere is not a deal-breaker as long as you can take broad criticism and apply it on your own, we do not know Premiere well)
Is comfortable taking direction and constructive criticism
Has a good eye for detail (no clipping audio, basic color correction, balanced audio levels, clean transitions, etc.)
has a sense of humor (we try to edit a lot of humor into all of our videos, even some of our tutorials, so it’s important that you have an eye for where a joke can be created in post production even if the content isn’t extremely humorous.)
basic green screen knowledge. I.E. how to use keyers.
has a flexible schedule and can get videos back to us quickly
We would like to have you edit a video for us on a trial basis. We typically take 3-4 hours to edit a tutorial but are willing to pay you for up to 6, however bear in mind that the time in which you’re able to complete the video will factor into whether we would like to work with you more in the future. If you are a good fit, we produce enough content to potentially keep you employed full time (40+ hours a week).
Please watch some of the example videos we’ve provided to get an idea for the pacing, humor, and length we would expect in your edit. If you have any questions about our expectations, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

If this is something you feel capable of, please reach out to us with a resume if you have one and any example videos of your talent.
Thanks
