Description
Experience Level: Expert
We plan to start making Video News Releases for publishing on our YouTube channel.
With that in mind, we are seeking a TV news presenter capable of presenting a script for 3-5 minutes. A freelancer would be ideal for our purposes. Native female English speaker (Australian, British, American accent OK) of age 20-35 preferred.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to master presenting skills, get more media exposure and gather new fans. We’d like to make a weekly VNR (4 news releases a month) related to environment, desalination, water reuse and pollution. Typically a single VNR would consist of:
giving some catching facts about water, giving latest news of the project (what happened over the past week), answering questions from audience (answers will be provided). A bit of fun, humour, colloquial expressions would be OK.
It is important for a candidate to be able to find a cameraman with a good HD camera and mic as well as good locations for shooting video. For a start, a desk with a laptop against some unanimously painted wall could do.
We only need footage and raw sound, no edit/mixing required.
A sample photo is a single frame from a video. The video was made using Chroma Key, the woman actually was presenting news in the studio. The background was added during post video edit. If you have resources to organize shooting in a similar location, it would be absolutely perfect.
