Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Need an animation made to describe our social enterprise and how it works, not more than 40 seconds long. We would like the animation to follow a certain story and script. In order to describe our storyboard more we have attach illustrations to show what we are looking for in more detail, but we would like a higher quality image used more than this. We can me in close communication if you have any more questions.
The boat sits in the water.
Solar panels appear and drop down onto the roof of the boat.
The shot is still. Begins to pan around to 4.
Shot has panned around to show the boat from the back, with land either side.
The water level rises, lifting the boat and flooding the land.
The water level returns to normal with the boat.
The shot pans up to show the boat from a 45 degree angle.
Sunlight shines on the boat.
A battery pack appears and begins charging. The black dotted line pulses with electricity.
Shot zooms out.
Shot zooms out more, and it goes from day to night.
The boat travels around the islands, and as it goes, small areas light up.
The shot transitions to show a plain background with a battery pack and unlit bulb.
The bulb cord is plugged into the batter and the bulb lights up.
The shot transitions to show the bulb hanging in the dark. A clock appears and shows six hours going by.
The script it is supposed to follow:
The business is simple: Solar panels are installed onto commuter boats, which won’t be affected by flooding and can move freely between the Char islands.
These solar panels are exposed to sunlight during the day, which charge lithium ion battery packs. In the evening, these batteries are transported to remote islands and rented out to members of the community, along with a light bulb.
The bulb, when connected to a fully charged battery, can stay lit for 6 hours and the battery packs can then be returned for charging the next day.
This is our newest social enterprise, Charge.
