Description
Experience Level: Entry
Hi,
I am launching a podcast about music and I'm looking to get a theme tune recorded. Ideally it would have relevant words and also an instrumental bit to talk over at the start of the show. I'm looking at something with the same spirit as the theme to Sawbones - https://www.maximumfun.org/shows/sawbones
If it helps, here is the pitch of the show:
I’m Ryan and I don’t listen to music in the same way as most other people.
I love a good tune, but my brain just doesn’t take in lyrics or stories. I’ve never obsessed over an album like some people do. But maybe that’s about to change.
I’ve asked my friend Jim to take me on a musical journey through some of the best loved albums in history, looking at the background to the recording, the songs themselves and why they made the impact they did.
I want to learn about why people fall in love with music in the way that they do, and perhaps I’ll find an album that has that effect on me.
I know the rate isn't amazing, but there is no budget at all for this at the moment, so this is a punt to see if anyone can help.
What do you think?
