Experience Level: Intermediate
This work will enable the 30 staff of this small company to select from a number of development options for improving their own skills against a newly introduced set of competencies.
These include Commercial Awareness, Planning and Organisation, Leadership and Teamwork, Creativity and continuous improvement, Communication, Customer Focus, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Adaptability and managing change, Personal Impact and Professionalism and Job Knowledge and Technical Skills.
As it is a small company, there is not an endless budget for training courses so for each area we want to provide a menu of options that will include activities such as shadowing, taking on more responsibilitites etc We also need to come up with a suggested reading list of relevant books in each competency area and I would like to include some free online resources such as training courses available through the likes of alison.com and others. Also keen to hear of any other personal development resources you think are applicable providing they are free or low cost.
The work needs to be completed and in place by around 20 November. I have imangined that this would be done in excel for ease of searching and use by the individual. I have created an example of what is in my mind but am open to discussion with the successful bidder.
