Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Topic: Kids Craft/DIY Tutorials
Tone: Informal/Casual
Outline & Structure: Are you crafty? If so, you could be just the person I seek.
I’m looking for a DIYer/Crafter to create fun, original and creative craft tutorials for children (0-13).
Here's what I’m looking for:
1. Originality and ideation – you’ll need to bring original ideas and produce child-friendly crafts/DIYs that are unique and interesting. Topics can cover: sewing, painting, paper crafts, woodwork, cooking/baking, indoor/outdoor crafts, fun projects (i.e. science projects).
2. Great photography skills – you’ll take beautiful photos of the crafts you create (clean, uncluttered, well-lit and with good composition).
3. Written tutorials – you must be able to write about your crafts in a fun and conversational way
Each tutorial will require the following:
1) An introduction to your craft/DIY (150 - 200 words)
2) 5-8 images – these must include high quality photos of some of the process steps, as well as photos of the finished craft.
3) Instructions for the tutorial, broken down into numbered steps.
I pay a flat rate per tutorial. Please quote me your rate for one tutorial.
Please include any links to your previous kids craft tutorials or images you have taken of crafts. I won’t be able to consider you without seeing your previous work.
This first tutorial will be a trial. If things go well there will be the opportunity for you to become a regular contributor.
Looking forward to working with you.
Extra notes: Note: You do not need to be a craft/DIY blogger to apply. If you're passionate about creating fun crafts/DIYs for kids and you take really good pictures, I’d be happy to hear from you.
