Description
I am looking for a specialist who can audit the site and bring the mobile PageSpeed score to a minimum of 75, ideally 80+, without rebuilding the site or changing the CMS. The site must remain on WordPress with WPBakery as the page builder, as I manage all content editing myself.
WHAT I NEED DONE
A full performance audit identifying what is causing the low score, followed by implementation of fixes. This typically includes image compression and next-gen format conversion, caching configuration, plugin audit and removal of unnecessary load, render-blocking JavaScript and CSS deferral, and Core Web Vitals optimisation (LCP, CLS, FID/INP).
WHAT I DO NOT WANT
No theme changes, no page builder changes, no structural rebuild, no migration away from WordPress. The site must look and function identically after the work is done.
WHAT I WANT TO SEE IN YOUR PROPOSAL
Your before/after PageSpeed scores from previous WordPress speed projects, specifically mobile scores. A clear statement of what score you are confident you can achieve on my site. Whether you offer a guarantee tied to hitting a minimum score. Your timeline from start to completion.
SITE DETAILS
Built on WordPress with WPBakery. Hosting provider can be confirmed on request. CDN is Cloudflare.

1. Based on the PageSpeed diagnostics, are there any third-party plugins, tracking scripts, or marketing tools currently installed that must remain fully active during optimization, even if they contribute heavily to render-blocking or main-thread execution time?
2. Since the site uses WPBakery and Cloudflare, would you prefer the optimization process to focus first on frontend asset restructuring (CSS/JS delivery, Core Web Vitals, image handling), or should server-level and Cloudflare cache optimization also be included as part of the performance improvement strategy?

Hi Jon
Can you share the site URL?
Without it, it's not possible for a freelancer to provide real responses to what you have asked for in proposals in relation to your specific site.
The URL will allow an initial assessment with diagnosis and then send a proposal that offers recommendations; strategy; timeline and cost.
Kind regards

A few important questions before starting:
1. Is the slow score issue happening on all pages or mainly homepage/product pages?
2. Are you currently using any cache plugin like WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, or W3 Total Cache?
3. Does the website use many third-party scripts like live chat, tracking tools, or external ads?
-

HI Jon, have you already identified which plugins or scripts are affecting your mobile PageSpeed score the most, or would you like a complete WordPress and WPBakery performance audit from the ground up?
-

Hi, Can you please share the URL of your website.

Hello Mr. Jon C,
Have you already identified whether the biggest mobile score drops are coming from WPBakery assets, third-party scripts, or Core Web Vitals bottlenecks like LCP and INP?
-

Hi Jon , quick question: is WP Rocket/LiteSpeed/Autoptimize currently installed, and are there any booking/forms/third-party scripts that must not be delayed?
