WordPress Frontend Developer for ongoing website work

I run one of the leading web design and development agencies in the South East of England and we pride ourselves on selecting the very best freelance talent to deliver consistently great results to our wide range of global clients.

We are looking for a WordPress Frontend Developer for ongoing website builds and alterations, working with 3 other members of my remote UK-based web development team to create great-looking, responsive websites WITHOUT using Divi or Elementor – does this sound like you? This would be ongoing work, initially for 3 months at 20 hours per week, fully remote working between 9am and 5pm GMT and with some flexibility around which hours suit you and the rest of our team - with potential to expand during busy periods.

Skills needed:
- Comfortable with all aspects of the WordPress CMS.
- Frontend skills including HTML and CSS with some PHP and Javascript
- WordPress theme development using Bootstrap starting from our custom base theme.
- Mobile first responsive templates
- Ability to set up page layouts in WordPress cms using Gutenberg blocks and adding css to match supplied design
- Experience with GIT workflows
- Able to fit in with an established team and work on your own initiative.
- Able to follow written processes to carry out tasks.
