Job Role: Full Stack Web Developer
Position Type: Freelance extension of the team
Location: Home-based (Remote Europe - Fluent English speaking required)
Web Presence - who are we?
We are web development and inbound marketing marketing agency based in Macclesfield, Cheshire. With 3 in-house developers, 2 Directors and 3 Marketing team members this is an invitation to virtually join the team on a rolling contract basis.
The Role
This position is a fully remote freelance opportunity and is a result of some key deadlines we need support with over the next 3 months.
This is a fixed term opportunity with a fortnightly rolling contract however as we continue to grow and generate more web development projects through referrals and our own marketing this is a great opportunity for a longer term arrangement.
Purpose and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Development Team and Marketing Team in the UK, to design/develop and implement:
Bespoke client-specific web-based projects.
Build web pages from client-provided designs in WordPress.
Tracking implementation and troubleshooting to support tag manager and web hook conversion tracking.
We work with a combination of Microsoft and Apple technologies.
Base Skills
Strong base frontend skills (HTML, SASS, CSS, Javascript, JQuery).
Strong PHP experience
Understanding of web development principles.
Ability to learn, adapt and apply technologies as needed.
Experience’s worth telling us about
Experience in Wordpress theme development
Experience in Laravel development (not essential)
Server and Deployment experience - such as through Forge (not essential)
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
Able to demonstrate effectiveness while working remotely.
Good level of education with software development focused qualifications and/or valid experience.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of HubSpot development is an advantage.
Time management (able to manage competing demands).
