Narain Solar is a UK-based supplier of solar installation products. Our main product lines include solar cables, connectors, and crimping tools. We serve three customer types: retail customers installing solar at home, trade installers, and wholesalers. We are launching a new WordPress + WooCommerce website to support SEO growth, Google Ads campaigns, and B2B enquiries.
Project Overview:
We need an experienced WordPress + WooCommerce developer to build a fast, SEO-optimised website that supports retail e-commerce sales and includes dedicated landing pages for trade installers and wholesalers. The site must be structured for future expansion and high conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Build the site using WordPress + WooCommerce (Astra/Kadence/Blocksy preferred)
Create a clean product structure for cables, connectors, tools, and accessories
Build dedicated landing pages for trade installers and wholesalers, each with enquiry forms and tracking
Implement B2B tools such as Wholesale Suite or B2BKing
Set up SEO foundations including metadata, schema, and URL structure
Optimise site performance for speed and Core Web Vitals
Configure Google Ads/GA4 conversion tracking
Provide basic training on managing products and content
Required Skills:
Strong experience with WooCommerce e-commerce builds
Experience implementing B2B/wholesale pricing and account systems
Knowledge of SEO best practices and site speed optimisation
Ability to design high-converting landing pages
Good communication and ability to advise on best practices
Bonus: experience with solar or electrical industry websites
Deliverables:
Fully functioning WordPress + WooCommerce website
Trade installer landing page with enquiry form and tracking
Wholesaler landing page with enquiry form and tracking
Product catalogue structure with sample products
SEO setup (RankMath preferred)
